Laser Hair Removal
Can you do laser hair removal anywhere on the body?
We can do laser hair removal just about anywhere on the body. The most common areas for women are the upper lip, chin, eyebrows and bikini line.
Men like to do hair removal at the back and shoulders, front of the neck (common place for ingrown hairs) as well as the glabella (space between the eyebrows). We do arms, legs, toes, underarms and more!
Is laser hair removal really permanent?
Yes, it is permanent in most people after about 6 treatments.
The majority of clients will see significant reduction of hair as well as finer and thinner hairs after just a few treatments. It depends on the goal of hair removal. If you just want a reduction in the number and coarseness of the hair, one or two treatments will be all you desire. If you want complete clearance of hair it will take about six treatments.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
You won't fall asleep in the treatment chair but you will not be in pain.
How many laser hair removal treatments will I need?
Most clients require about 6 treatments for complete clearance of hair. Fewer treatments are needed if your goal is to reduce the number of hairs as well as the coarseness of the remaining hair. Some darker skin tones will require more than six treatments since we need to use a lower energy level to protect their skin.
Why does it take more than one treatment?
Hair grows in cycles. The laser only disables the hair in the active stage of growth at the time of treatment. It does, however, affect the hairs in the early and late stages. The hairs that return are those that were not in the active stage of growth at the time of treatment. They appear lighter in color and finer in texture. We do see good results after just one treatment, but additional treatments are needed to have complete clearance of hair.
Why do you recommend laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is fast, convenient, and has minimal side effects. It can save you up to 10 minutes a day just by skipping the full leg shave. Think of the money you have spent on razors, shaving creams, bleaching creams and eyebrow waxes. We offer solutions to expensive as well as time-consuming hair grooming.

MicroPeels
How often would I have to have this treatment?
Similar to a facial, we recommend a monthly treatment. Depending on your skin type, however, treatments two times a month may produce a more dramatic result.
How will I look after the first treatment?
Unlike a facial, most people will notice a change in the skin right away. You can apply your makeup immediately following the procedure.
Can this type of treatment be bad for my skin?
If you are pregnant, lactating, taking Accutane or have a chronic history of cold sores, we do not recommend this treatment. You should also be aware that since any exfoliation increases photosensitivity to the sun you must use sun protection. You must also sign an informed consent before you begin the skin care program.
Photorejuvenation
What is Photorejuvenation?
PhotoRejuvenation is a series of Intense Pulsed Light treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing, broken capillaries, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. Treatment also improves mild acne scars, reduces large pores, corrects dark circles around the eyes, and reduces fine lines. Treatments are especially effective for improving the appearance of the face, neck, chest, and hands. This exciting treatment involves little or no "down time." You can resume normal activities immediately.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
For optimal results, a series of 3 to 5 treatments are recommended. Follow-up treatments may be desired once a year to maintain results.
How does the treatment work?
An intense light is applied in a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates through the skin and is absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. The heat causes damage to the vessel or lesion, and the body begins its natural healing process. The lesion will darken before it flakes off or the body absorbs it. Treatment can be given as frequently as every three weeks.
What are the benefits of PhotoRejuvenation?
- Treatment Improves Sun Spots, Age Spots, Dull Complexions, Uneven Pigmentation, Large Pores, Sun Damaged Skin, and Early Signs of Aging.
- Treatment Improves Red Flushing Skin, Rosacea, and Broken Capillaries.
- Enjoy Smoother Skin with a More Even Tone.
- Minimal Discomfort During Treatment.
- Resume Regular Activities Immediately.
What is treatment like?
Treatment may vary from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated. First, the treated area is cleansed and a cool gel is applied. When the pulse of light is delivered, the sensation is similar to a snap of a rubber band. After treatment, the gel is removed, the skin cleansed, and a sunscreen is applied. Pain is minimal; however, topical anesthesia can be used for maximum comfort. For sensitive skin, a cool compress is applied following treatment.
Are there any possible side effects?
Side effects are rare. Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear flushed, brown pigmented spots may appear darker, and capillaries may be more visible. In rare instances, temporary swelling and/or blistering can occur.
What improvement will I see?
Patients have a high degree of satisfaction with their results. Expect to see a gradual decrease in redness, broken capilaires, flushing, irregular pigmentation, pore size and fine lines. After each treatment, the skin will feel smoother and appear to have a more even tone.
